Class 3 and Airbrakes Driver Training Course

About The Event
Requirements:
• A valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Completed Medical Examination
Practice and preparation are crucial to successfully passing your road test.
Before the first day of class, students are required to have read the Class 3 and Air Brake Manual to refresh their knowledge.
All paid students will receive access to our online training courses for the duration of their program.
These online courses are designed to allow students outside Yellowknife to study and prepare for the written test ahead of time — helping minimize the cost and time of staying in Yellowknife (www.kamlakeacademy.ca)
2 Course Options:
1. Introductory Course:
• 2 full days of classroom training (if required)
• 10 hours of practical training (Pre-trip Inspection and In-Truck Training)
2. Extended Course:
• 2 full days of classroom training (if required)
• 20 hours of practical training (Pre-trip Inspection and In-Truck Training)
Training Duration:
• The length of training for the Class 3 Road Test varies depending on your prior driving experience, skill level, and frequency of practice.
• On average, training may take between one to three weeks to complete.

• Water delivery truck driver
