Prerequisites and Northwest Territories Specifics

In the Northwest Territories, as with other commercial licenses (Class 1, 3, and 4), the minimum age is 18 years old.
Vision Test: A vision test is a standard requirement.
You will need to pass a written knowledge test that covers the specific rules and regulations for operating Class 2 vehicles.
Air Brake Endorsement.
Driving Record: Your driving record is typically required.
In the Northwest Territories you will have to provide proof of residency.

    How do the online driving courses work?

    Each course will be given live by a certified instructor, and you must have a computer, mobile device or tablet to attend. You will not be given a physical manual; you will receive materials in PowerPoint format.

    How can I learn to drive online?

    There are nine steps to learning to drive online:
    Registering on the platform for theoretical lessons in the Highway Code.
    Learning the basics of road safety and the different themes of the Highway Code.
    Test practice with online tests.

    What are the stages of driver training?

    Driver training is divided into four stages:
    controlling your vehicle in light traffic ;
    driving in normal traffic ;
    driving in difficult conditions;
    mastering autonomous driving.
